Paladin of aurora
Paladin magic works through the prayers of the warrior priests of Aurora, the paladins. Comparable to Shamiodô magic, paladin magic is linked to the god they serve. There are therefore ten paladin orders, each with its own specific magic. The clerics of the order can also invoke exarchs, the divine servants of their god, through a specific prayer. This prayer is often accompanied by a magical artefact representing the venerated god, usually a pendant with a sigil associated with the god.
Ork shamanism
Orc shamans use treant fruit and Agarthian honey to communicate with spirits and nature. Their powers consist mainly of making themselves heard by animals, especially insects, but also plants and fungi. They have mastered the cultivation and breeding of Agarthian spores, mandraglith and Agarthian bees. In addition, they often have a totem animal, a Lykan partner who becomes their blood brother and guardian.
Vampire blood oath
Blood is the main magic of vampires, and the other aspects (except chaos and void) are derived from it. Vampire magic, unlike humans, does not separate into separate schools. The classification into aspects just indicates which demon to worship in order to enhance a particular power.
The blood will
The blood of the vampire is a weapon in its own right, which can solidify and become a weapon or even armour. Allows a victim to be transformed into a ghoul or damphir. Allows blood rituals and the writing of inviolable contracts, living paintings, and the creation of living statues. The primal power, to harden blood, to give it the form of a weapon between whip, needles or claws, to attract the blood of the dead towards oneself to absorb it, and to feed on it by biting. These are the only powers available to the Damphirs. Once a blood contract signed, The power of the blood gets its maximum power, allowing all sins and all blood shapes to be used at the same time, at the price of a “service”. The service might be an “eternal servitude” until a certain task is acomplished.
Luxury Charges the blood with pheromone, causing confusion. Can also turn into a temporary slave. A puddle of blood will temporarily take control of any persons walking in it, attracted by the perfume.
Gluttony The blood becomes thick and allows a victim to be grabbed and devoured from a distance or brought back to him. The lost blood forms tentacles feeding on its victims, before returning to the vampire.
Wrath Makes the blood more fluid, therefore faster, to hit several targets at once, and inflicts extreme pain, with burns, and is capable of cutting through rock; however, it evaporates with each blow. Blood on the ground is boiling and inflicts debilitating burns.
Pride The blood, extremely cold, lacerates the enemy and imprisons him, slowly destroying his mental state. the blood puddles surrounds the victim, in the form of an illusory cold mist, frightening experience that can sap the will and sanity of the victim to the point of losing his or her identity and will, and then dying of hypotermia.
Greed The blood has a golden throat, becoming solid to the point of forming a protective shield, or even a fixed wall. The blood on the ground looks like glittering gold, luring the victims into a trap, turning them into a temporary statue.
Envy The blood is acid, burning, and yet, the victim will want more of it. Blood puddles takes the appearance of a mirror showing envied things, and drive them into acid bath.
Sloth Makes blood totally flaccid, sticky, numbing enemies, by releasing a soporific poison. It can line the floor and walls, blocking doors and other mechanisms.
Rage
Controlling the bestial appearance of the vampire, and the time of consciousness in this form. The power to enslave nox-sankres. Allow flying, running faster and jumping higher, or breathe underwater. In bestial appearance, their teeth are longer, their nails are replaced by sharp claws, and they grows wings in the back.
Chaos
Allows the control of the blue flame, forging weapons with destructive powers, and producing spontaneous explosions of fire, ice and lightning. It is a powerful and unstable power that cannot be controlled directly, but can be infused into weapons, in theory. Only three persons have been reported to have achieved control over free chaos.
Occult
Allows you to conjure demons through portals; manipulate souls, the dead, and inflict curses, and all that is painting and blood sculpture. Become invisible or levitate, pass through a sealed surface. Polymorphism.
Void
The void sucks the vital force of beings, leaving behind it a hollow envelope, and then makes this envelope disappear. Nothing stops the void, not even its user. The victims of the void cannot be picked up by necromancy. The void can, like the aether, take the form it wishes. Prolonged use without being a follower of the Lapis nomine drains the health to the point of totally killing the vampire; unless he is endowed with an unfailing will.
The mark of the void (violet eyes) is the infamous mark of a person destined to a destructive ambition for himself or for others or both (if he was born with it). If it appeared later, it's simple: a user of the void who abuses it, therefore 90% a member of the lapis (beware: other signs go with it: an aged appearance, scars everywhere...). In any case, this person has an innate resistance to the degradation of the void, and a gift for using it (where normally it takes time to realise that the void exists, before learning to master it without fading away).
Dream weavers mantra
The philosophy of Akeidres dream-dances is based on the dream world and the secrets they contain. They use the pure dream fibre, the Kalna, in which the past, present and future can be read and connected through dreams. In this way they weave the weft of their destiny which they oppose to the one traced by Polaris and Coronaria. They follow what they themselves call the path of the wheel of kalma.
To develop his or her powers, the dancer must have met the Polaris whale during a dream of ritual trance (by consuming ghost kelp). Then to improve his powers, he must feed on oniric fruit fallen from the spirit tree carried by Coronaria. Many of these powers are imitations, or copies, of Athrian powers. They are given in the form of dreams, songs and images pronounced by Polaris. A dream dance must master its voice and physical form to use these powers, in the form of sung mantras and ritual dances.
lich
Those forbidden things should not be written here. Becoming a lich require to be prepared to die, and cut all link with reality to get closer to pure magic and or a divinity.
The first thing you’ll need is a great source of magical powers; being an archmage or thaumaturgic paladin; elf capable of mastering terminal glyphs without pain. Or even better, a half elf capable of both. However it is not still sufficient, the blood of Damphir can be needed.
The first known way is to ask directly to a god, like Thanaos, to serve him even after death. It is a long ritual, and can be given to heroic death on battle field. It is a pious way, your free will and consciousness is given in exchange of servitude and justice, in the name of the god you will act for.
The second consist on cumulating the greatest quantity of power, and a crowd of acolytes. The goal will be to create a circle of dead rising ritual, were the future lich will be on center. The lich will have to suicide, while casting a spell of flesh golem on themselves. This way is risky and will depend on lot of things:
Firstly, the cause of death, and state of the body, the soul can be ejected as the body turn into Aether ashes, like any flesh golem. Then, if the body is not tainted, it is trusting the acolytes to do the right thing, because f a lich is virtually eternal, it can wait a long time before being discovered and raised again.
There is a solution, like finding a body of close similarity to transfer soul in a younger body, replacing the heart by a philosophical gem, creating a pseudo-Athrian. However this solution is not likely to work, and will end in explosion, destroying the body, or worst, the soul being trapped in the gem and serving in enchanting ritual.
The third solution is the most efficient, the most powerful, and therefore the most difficult to achieve. Rather than replacing his heart with an Athrian heart, become a free damphir. In addition to the golem spell and the ritual of raising, the person who wants to become a liche must empty himself of all his blood, and absorb that of his acolytes (or of victims sacrificed against their will). Here there is no problem of an ageing body, or of a limit in the number of lives; the only necessity is to find blood in large quantities to repair the body as the damage is done ; the only way to die for good is to destroy the body entirely (by burning it at the stake for example).
